Alice Sowerby: Hi Alice, a few things in my experience:
- I need to track Slack regularly to see if I got response. Notifications are not working pretty well which is a known issue. There is no email or equivalent reminder. Also I need to switch workspaces etc.
- Questions disappear easily so that it does not work for the potential same future questions. Discourse offers recommendation before asking the question.
- I might want to subscribe some topics even I don't have a question.
These are the experience that I personally observed through both our Startup's as well as the following communities who also left Slack and jumped in to the Discourse.

Hey Beray! Would love to hear more on your thoughts here - what kind of thing would you like to see on a forum and would you see a place for Slack the mix still?
