Currently when launching an instance through the Metal console, there is no way to add tags to an instance at provision time as part of the provisioning page.
Allowing customers to tag instances at provisioning time through the console would let automation inserted through userdata key off user defined metadata as part of it's provisioning / cloud-config steps.
